Acuity LED 3200R: Roissy Copy

Widening horizons

Originally founded as a reprographic printer in 1990, a stone’s throw from Charles de Gaulle airport, Roissy Copy first partnered with Fujifilm in 2008 – investing in an Acuity flatbed machine in order to broaden its product offering into the wide format market. Nine years and three generations of Acuity later, the company and its team of specialists provide customers with advice and an ever wider and more creative range of printed and cut products.

A French first

In late 2016, responding to customer demand for larger formats, particularly for construction site banners, Roissy Copy invested further in both flatbed and roll-to-roll inkjet UV printing. The company added an Acuity Select X2 flatbed and – in a first for the French market – the brand new Acuity LED 3200R roll-fed printer, enabling it to print at extremely high levels of quality on rolls up to a maximum width of 3.2m.

Exceeding expectations

Managing Director Patrick Boudaud is delighted with this latest addition: “The Acuity LED 3200R allows us to print banners and to create very large format visuals, which our customers are demanding more and more often, particularly for events. It has exceeded our expectations in terms of productivity and print quality. Thanks to this investment, and our new Acuity Select X2, we can also now handle larger print runs of over 500 without adversely impacting on our production schedule and enabling us to continue to develop new applications.”
